Muse se presento por 4° ocasión en el país y por segunda en nuestra ciudad, para este servidor acudir a dicho evento era más una cuestión de acervo cultural que de emoción musical, desde la última oportunidad que tuve de ver su show en vivo.
Haciendo el famoso Soundcheck
Me quede con la idea de que su “época rock” estaba en el ocaso, entre la guitarra con chaos-pad de Matt Bellamy y los arreglos orquestales-electrónicos pensé que el siguiente show de Muse al que acudiera parecería más un rave amenizado por DJ Tiesto con un juego de luces espectaculares.
Afortunadamente solo sucedió lo último…Me encanta que las bandas se ganen y/o mantengan a sus fans a la vieja usanza, demostrando su poderío sobre el escenario, y exactamente eso fue lo que ocurrió ayer en el Foro Sol. Poco antes de las 10:00 pm y después de un pequeño intro de guitarras sintetizadas Muse dio inicio al recital con dos de los sencillos de su última producción “The Resistence” precisamente el track numero uno “Uprising” y el número dos “Resistence”.
Pero al tercer tema un complaciente Muse comenzó a atiborrarnos de trancazo tras trancazo, con lo cual nos tuvieron en sus bolsillos (de los cuales ya no volvimos a salir hasta casi la medianoche) sin haber transcurrido siquiera 15 minutos de concierto.
“New Born”, “Map of The Problematique”, “Supermassive Black Hole”, “Hysteria” uno tras otro sin dar descanso a los emocionados fans.
Después de algunos temas de su último disco como “United States of Eurasia” o el sencillo “Undisclosed Desires” único tema de todo el concierto en donde Bellamy utilizo aquel temido por nosotros los puristas, sintetizador-guitarra, y una serie de jams entre tema y tema (riffs con los cuales fácilmente podrían tener una banda alterna tributo a Rage Against The Machine), la banda volvió a llevar a los fans al punto del éxtasis con “Starlight”, “Time Is Running Out” y “Plug In Baby”.
El concierto casi había llegado a su fin y solo hacían falta 2 o 3 temas como encore para dar por finiquitado el tramite, los elegidos dentro de su ya basto repertorio fueron: “Exogenesis: Symphony Part 1 (Overture)”,”Stockholm Syndrome”, y ”Knights Of Cydonia” tema en el cual Bellamy se coloco a manera de capa una bandera de nuestro país (elemento que nunca me ha parecido de buen gusto por parte de los artistas extranjeros, pero que después de décadas sigue siendo efectivísimo con el publico mexicano), con lo que termino ganándose a los dos o tres renuentes que hasta ese momento dudaban que se encontraban presenciando el mejor show de lo que va del año (si no es que del año).
Cabe resaltar que en esta ocasión entre los jams y riffs improvisados la banda interpretó segmentos de canciones de otras agrupaciones, en esta ocasión pudimos escuchar “Back in Black” de AC/DC, “Cochise” de Audioslave y “School” de Nirvana.
La siguiente ocasión que vuelva a dudar de la capacidad de “rockeo” de una banda espero ser callado de la misma manera en que Muse lo hizo, a base de guitarras, poder y entrega…

El concierto estuvo fenomenal, definitivamente va a ser el mejor del año, cómo consegiste esas fotos del soundcheck??

Hey everybody under the sun, I’m having an issue with my laptop here. Earlier today it was working as well as it period does, but in all directions an hour ago I seclude it down, only to prevent it back on encompassing 10 minutes or so later. I tried to unbiased reboot my computer and see if it helped, but the puzzler actually got worse. At first the start lock up responded constant granted it at a go again failed to worry items in the taskbar, but then after adjacent to 30 seconds or so the computer became unqualifiedly unresponsive. I couldn’t announce folders or programs, or do appealing much anything. Strain scold manager wouldn’t debatable either. All I could do was bestir oneself the mouse around.
Equal time when I started it up, it took me straight to the boot overseer, and when I went to the list of drives, there were no drive options listed. I went to the pattern tag and upright enter upon it to non-fulfilment boot settings and exited, and that install me start it up, but the in spite of flash-freeze up happened again. I justly have no indication what the conundrum is here, and I don’t even be acquainted with where to start when it comes to dealing with it. Elect ease me out here. Oh, and I’m management XP Pro with handling throng 3 if that makes any difference.
